If you dropped pumpkin on your favourite shirt you are probably desperately looking for a simple and effective way to remove the stain – and today, I am going to show you exactly that, the easiest and most effective method for removing pumpkin stains!
How to Remove Pumpkin Stains From Your Clothes?
Believe it or not, removing pumpkin stains from your clothes is actually super simple and won’t take long. I know that the stain may look bad but removing it is easy.
First thing you need to do is pick up the pumpkin you dropped on your clothes – I recommend you use a spoon and scoop the excess. That way you will avoid rubbing or wiping the area because, as you probably know, applying pressure on the stain will drive it deeper into the fabric.
Next, you need to rinse the stained area. The easiest way to do this is by holding the stain over running cold water. I also recommend you pre-treat the stain before you rinse it. If you have any stain remover – use that but if you don’t, your normal laundry detergent will do the trick. Just make sure you work it in with your fingers and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing.
Then if the stain remains, repeat the steps all over again. You can also use something stronger like oxygen-bleach which is my holy grail for removing stains. I dilute the bleach with cold water then submerge the clothing item in there for a few hours before washing it as usual.
No matter how you remove the stain – with laundry detergent, stain remover, or oxygen bleach, the last step should always be washing the clothing item. But never throw the garment in the washing machine before you are certain that the stain is removed.
